A little brown spider is mingling
on t
Spider Poem
A little brown spider is mingling
on the ceiling of my bedroom.
He thinks he is sneaky
under the fin of the ceiling fan,
not moving. He
would be exoskeleton mincemeat
if it was.
He is doing laps around
the fan, now, his front legs twitch
as he walks.
She is sleeping here
in the grooves, where
she can't see the menacing beast,
but I watch.
We start making love.
The brown voyeur starts
his journey,
sneaking down the wall
by my bed.
She sees him, on top of me.
Aaah
I struggle to grab
toilet paper,
the spider,
an empty cup,
her on top of me.
